How Much Does Invisalign Cost?

Published 02/19/2021

Invisalign cost can differ depending on a couple of factors.

Every smile is different, and requires a unique process and time to achieve the desired smile.

Which eventually means different budgets and prices depending on the patient’s case.

What Is Invisalign?

Invisalign is a modern, nearly invisible way to straighten your teeth without the hassle of traditional braces. Instead of metal brackets and wires, Invisalign uses a series of custom-made, clear plastic aligners that fit snugly over your teeth. These aligners are designed to gradually shift your teeth into their desired position, step by step. What’s great about Invisalign is that the aligners are removable, so you can take them out when you eat, brush, or floss. Plus, because they’re clear, most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them. It’s a comfortable, discreet option that fits seamlessly into your lifestyle while giving you the smile you’ve always wanted.

Cost of Invisalign

At Queens Medical Center, the cost of Invisalign treatment ranges from AED 5,000 to AED 15,000. This price varies depending on the specifics of your treatment plan and the complexity of your case. While it’s an investment, many find Invisalign’s comfort and discreet nature well worth it. We also offer flexible payment options to help fit the cost into your budget. For the most accurate estimate, we recommend scheduling a consultation to discuss your needs and receive a personalized quote.

Benefits of Invisalign

  • Nearly Invisible: Clear aligners are discreet, making it hard for others to notice you’re undergoing treatment.
  • Comfortable Fit: Made from smooth plastic, Invisalign aligners are less likely to cause irritation compared to traditional braces.
  • Removable: Aligners can be taken out for eating, brushing, and flossing, allowing for better oral hygiene and flexibility in your diet.
  • Predictable Results: Advanced technology provides a detailed treatment plan, showing a virtual preview of your smile transformation.
  • Fewer Office Visits: Typically, fewer check-ups are required compared to traditional braces, saving you time.
  • No Dietary Restrictions: Since aligners are removable, you can eat and drink whatever you like without worrying about damaging your braces.
  • Improved Confidence: The clear aligners help you maintain your confidence throughout the treatment, as they are less noticeable than metal braces.

Invisalign Alternatives

If you are looking for invisible braces, but it doesn’t fit your budget, or you can’t commit to the regular visits to the orthodontist. There are four available alternatives in dental clinics which are less expensive.

1. Lingual Braces

Lingual braces can be an alternative to Invisalign, if your main concern is the appearance. They are fixed to the back of your teeth and can’t be seen when you smile.

This type also uses brackets and wires similar to the traditional braces, but may be cheaper than Invisalign.

2. Clear Correct

Clear Correct is an Invisalign alternative that uses a similar clear set of  aligners. The total cost is usually less than Invisalign. However, the aligners are usually thinner, which makes them less visible, but less strong.

The aligners are made of the same plastic that Invisalign used to use. But invisalign now uses the patented smart track material, which is reported to give a more comfortable feeling in the mouth.

The results with both aligners are mostly same, although many orthodontists prefer Invisalign because it comes with more resources, such as first-class planning software, making the treatment easier.

3. Smile Direct Club

Smile Direct Club introduces the idea of “remote” teeth aligning, where patients send a 3D scan of their teeth to the remote orthodontist who creates a treatment plan.

The teeth aligners (and sometimes a retainer) are then mailed to the patients to wear on their own. Smile club offers a much cheaper option compared to Invisalign.

However, there are some real disadvantages such as:

  • The home kit for getting impressions can be risky. If the impressions were not correct, it will cause problems in your treatment down the road. It will also cost you more money.
  • You won’t be able to visit your orthodontist physically to check your progress.
  • If anything goes wrong, it will be much more difficult to fix the problem.
